Cider is one of the best things about the colder seasons. It is so warm, so yummy and just plain good. It’s a great way to keep your hands warm on those cold days. The apple flavor is refreshing on a cold evening and it warms you from the inside out.
During the Christmas season we spend a lot of time in the evening visiting with family and friends, we tend to have more company over and we want to make that perfect drink anyone can enjoy. Cider is even a favorite amongst kids.
Different types of apples do taste different, of course, but did you know that using essential oils in your cider can make an amazing new flavor? We sometimes add cinnamon sticks or whole cloves in to give it a spicy kick, but then we spend a lot of time fishing out the cinnamon sticks and cloves, but with essential oils, there are no cinnamon sticks and cloves to fish out. Give our recipe for warm spicy apple cider a try.
Chai, Orange, Clove are in this recipe.
Don’t forget to come back tomorrow for the next fun way to use your oils this Christmas season.
