HISTORY

Peppermint is one of the most popular Essential Oils with many uses and benefits.
Records show that the ancient Greeks, Romans, and Egyptians used various kinds of mint for healing purposes. The uses of this cherished plant and its benefits have been traced back to Chinese and Japanese folk medicine.

Textual references to this beautiful herb prove that it has been used for culinary purposes and in herbal medicine since 1500 BC. Peppermint is one of the hundreds of species belonging to the mint family of the mint genus.
It wasn’t until the 1700s, however, that Mentha Piperita was identified as a unique species.

Because of its multi-purpose uses, it has gained its place amongst the most popularly used essential oils in the world.

Today Peppermint is used in flavorings, cosmetics, medicines, and more. It is popularly used to reduce aches and pains, relieve headaches, muscle spasms, flatulence, and reduce fevers.

Using too much Peppermint essential oil daily could interfere with sleep patterns, due to its stimulating properties, and an overdose of the oil can lead to potentially severe side effects.

This oil smells like true peppermint. So fresh and minty

I absolutely love the smell of this peppermint oil. I could breathe it in all day. It tastes so good added to lime water or breath freshener. I've tried other oils that taste bitter and this one just tastes minty and so soothing on the throat. I put it straight on my tongue when I have a cough and it soothes my throat so much.

These oils are top notch and very useful.

A nice blend of some of these oils healed my poor girl's ear infection and relieved some of that pain. They have so many great uses. Definitely worth your money.
